Portugalska symphonic metal zasedba Glasya bo 18. februarja pri Scarlet Records izdala svoj 2. studijski album, ki bo nosil naslov Attarghan. Zasedba, ki se opisuje kot soundtrack metal band, ponuja z novim albumom še eno epsko perzijsko zgodbo, ki naj bi nagovorila ljubitelje bandov, kot so Nightwish, Dream Theater, Epica, Myrath ali Hans Zimmer.

Album je produciral in zmiksal Fernando Matias pri The Pentagon Audio Manufacturers (Moonspell, Gwydion, Sinistro), za mastering je poskrbel Darius Van Helfteren pri Amsterdam Mastering (Epica, Xandria, Within Temptation, The Gathering), za artwork pa je bil odgovoren Pedro Daniel-Phobos pri Anomaly Design.

Producent in solo izvajalec Libra je sredi pandemije junija lani k sodelovanju povabil nekatere prominentne glasbene kolege, da skupaj posnamejo priredbo Depeche Mode klasike It Doesn’t Matter Two. Pri projektu so se mu pridružili Anneke Van Giersbergen (ex-The Gathering, Vuur, The Gentle Storm), Shaun MacGowan (My Dying Bride), Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride), Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica), Aaron Aedy (Paradise Lost), Don Aires Pereira (Moonspell), Kenny Hickey (ex-Type O Negative, ex-Danzig, Silvertomb), Caleb Bingham (ex-Five Finger Death Punch, Athanasia) in Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation), rezultat pa so sedaj ovekovečili tudi s »koronskim« videospotom.

Za produkcijo, aranžmaje in miks je poskrbel Libra, ki je odigral tudi bobne, medtem ko so mastering zaupali legendarnemu Tedu Jensenu (Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, AC/DC).

Grški ekstremneži Karma Violens bodo 2. aprila izdali album Mount of the Congregation. Ta je bil posnet v Symbolic Studios, za mastering pa so poskrbeli v Hertz Studios (Behemoth, Decapitated). Na ploščku bodo sledeči komadi:

Drugi mesec novega leta pozdravlja sveže formiran band Vengeant s Švedske. Simfonični progresivci so že izdali prvi komad Angel's Battle Cry, ki ga lahko poslušate tudi prek platforme Spotify. V prihodnosti lahko pričakujete še več power metal riffov, operetskih vokalov, orkestralnih aranžmajev in svetlobno hitrih kitarskih solaž.
